My previous as an elementary teacher provided me with the opportunity to work with kids from all different backgrounds and also provided me with the skills for project management. At this point in my life, I feel that I need to help more people. As a teacher, I saw different webs and apps that lack empathy with students and non-tech people. I wanted to be able to contribute to building unique websites and apps that would help everyone. I I came across a UX design ad on my phone and tried a free online class,I then learned what UX was about, and fell in love because it gives me the freedom to be creative and analytical while adding value to people's lives. I knew this is the path I needed to take.
A few weeks later, I decided to enroll in CareerFoudry and do their nine-month User Experience design Bootcamp with a specialization in User Interfaces, and at the same time, learning on my own HTML and CSS to be a more complete designer.
I am empathetic, open-minded, human-centered, problem solver, and I understand that
data and change drives
efficiency, innovation, and progress; therefore, I am always open and willing to learn and explore new strategies and processes to move forward.
